Bumblebee using his car door to hit the Volkswagen was a reference to the fact that in the early comic books and animated series bumblebee was a Volkswagen not a Camaro that will change for this movie. Then that became anonymous for bumblebee default form because of these transformer movies.

The cube didn’t destroy the robot the cube brought the phone to life . Turned it into a transformer. The cube GIVES life.

Before you watch the second movie in the transformers Michael Bay franchise which is named Transformers revenge of the fallen you need to watch the 2009 Friday the 13th remake which takes place in transformers universe in between the first and second movie. Now it's not necessary to but it does provide details on some characters shown in the first transformer film.

These movies are great but the one thing to understand as you go through the series don’t try to figure out the continuity. The stories don’t really match up. It’s a timeline issue. It’s like wait how is that like that when the other movie said this. Just enjoy each movie as a standalone. 15:36 that’s the transformers motto. “More than meets the eye” so they threw that in. 16:00 that’s Rachael Taylor from Australia. Grew up in Tasmania. 34:08 it’s funny now there’s no issue sitting in the driver seat. 34:25 like everything in the universe someone believes they should control everything and others believe people should have freedom. Look at what’s on the cop car that was chasing Sam. It says “To punish and enslave” on their side. 36:09 this was so awesome to see back when this first came out cause we didn’t have any live action transformers movies or shows only animated. So to see real vehicles transform especially at high speeds was amazing. 40:00 love it the guard was like “those were for all of us you idiot”. 53:28 he’s a bad alien. He’s not cute. He’s a terror. 57:16 right. Remember earlier Optimus said that if all else fails he will put the Cube in his chest and Ratchet said it would be suicide cause it’s raw energy. 1:12:50 and they have an audience watching them make out.

You 2 are in luck I am a Transformers Lore expert here are a couple things you need to know about The Transformers. 1. The Transformers species is Cybertronian 2. Energon is the live blood to all Cybertronians it powers their weapons, their technology, and themselves 3. All Cybertronians have a Bio-Mechanical organ called a T-COG that allows them to scan vehicles and transform.

If you like this one, I can guarantee you will love Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon, Bumblebee, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, and Transformers the Movie from the 1980s (Of course you should watch some episodes of the first season of the G1 cartoon before you watch that movie. They are all free on KZbin!) The other Bay films are garbage, but DOTM is awesome! Unfortunately, you have to watch Revenge of the Fallen before you can watch that, and ROTF may just be the worst Transformers movie, next to The Last Knight.

Now you just must go thru them all in order because the bay universe are so massive the explosions and pure chaos is amazing. Im happy these are NOT 1 to 1 with the lore of transformers which makes them even BETTER in my opinion XD

It doesn't matter how many times I've seen the movie, the scene with Optimus and the other Autobots arriving on Earth will always give me the good kind of chills. Little backstory: Since I was born in 1991, I didn't get to grow up with Peter Cullen as the voice of Optimus. In 2001, my first exposure to the Transformers universe was through the series Robots In Disguise, with a voice actor named Neil Kaplan providing the voice of Optimus Prime. Then from there it went to the Unicron trilogy with Gary Chaulk as the voice of Optimus. I didn't get to fully bask in the glory of the Autobot Supreme Commander until this movie came out in 2007. I have a profound appreciation for what Peter Cullen has brought to the table in the world of the Transformers. Between the live action movies (4 and 5 are horrible), and the Transformers Prime series. He is forever my favorite voice actor for Optimus Prime. I just hope I get to meet him one day before he inevitably passes.
