My jaw just dropped to the ground when the ladies came out in those red Christmas dresses first time I saw this. Some of the most beautiful costumes I’ve ever seen on screen.

The scene where Bing and Danny lip-sync Sisters wasn’t in the original script. They were mucking around with the props and caused the cast and crew to laugh.

the housekeeper didn't hear the rest of the conversation when Bob said he didn't want to put the show on tv and capitalize on the general's bad luck That;s what Betty thought, but it wasn't true. Bob wanted to go on tv to get the army guys to come up to the inn.

2 things 1)The ambition thing goes along with the angle thing. He thinks that any woman that wants to be with him only wants the relationship to be famous and not just love him for him. 2)I always remember the timeframe when she says that Alaska is out of the country. Almost always forget how new Alaska is as a state

6.60 or 8.80 means from six dollars to eight dollars to see him which back then was worth a lot more then that amount in todays money. It didn't mean 6 hundred or 8 hundred dollars to see him.
