Get a bear spray belt--keep your spray on your belt. You don't want to be fumbling in your backpack or fannypack when you do encounter an angry bear. The rangers in Yellowstone told us bear spray stored in a pack may as well be back in the store for all the good it will do you. Go to REI and get the bear spray belt. Beautiful hikes!

Vinnie is very strong and brave, he can go through any place. Eating a five-star hot dog in the wilds of Alaska is a rare sight! That squirrel is so cute, looking forward to your flight, thanks for sharing! 👍😄🙌

I think the bottles are so full because they are an American design and so made to hold 4 US quarts, which is less than 4 litres, as used in Canada.

The landscapes and views are so stunning in Alaska. As an American I can say we do have some “out of this World” amazingly beautiful National Parks! Hoping to get to Denali sometime soon. Sorry you couldn’t do your flight due to the weather. Glad you could re-schedule it. ❤️

Yes he's a real trooper! Alaska is more beautiful than we had expected (and our expectations were already high) and there will be lots of very, VERY cool wildlife in the next video! 🐬🦭🐳🥰

Thanking for sharing an amazing vlog. Outstanding drone footage. Did you know 80% of mustard seed used to manufacture Dijon mustard is grown in Canada 🇨🇦. Stay safe and I’m looking forward to your next video. 💕💕🇨🇦

When you get into southern BC and into the states you will find good bread again. Up north supplies a slim.

I had guessed $4 for each bottle of water ... $8 total. It is the cost of freight as well to bring supplies into the north. When you get to a big store in the major areas, stock up! Loved seeing the ground squirrel buddy!!

I laughed out loud as soon as I saw Naick grab that bread for the bratwurst. Just three days back from my trip and I’m already longing for real bread. My country has a lot of good things but bread is NOT one of them! We’re a nation of immigrants. When did we forget how to bake decent bread?!?!?! 😂. Beautiful videography! Loved, loved, loved it at 14:33.

When you put the drone up at your first camping spot, you seemed to be away from any lake or river? When you are out in low bushes like that, if there are no berries, you are unlikely to encounter any bears, they really do just go from food source to food source

That's the thing about tramping through the wilderness. Double Twix is cuisine! Please accept my compliments on the excellent quality of this video. I know you guys have taken on-line lessons about how to do videos. You've gained your own experience, of course. A couple of bright Belgians, a financial analyst and a lawyer must have skills. Maybe doing translation work so much comports well with thinking about how video comes across? Sure, for someone new to your journey, it might not give the story. As someone aware of your story, I'll repeat that this was beautiful and well-knit! Not the chatty knit of a sweater but the knit of a song, in a way. Maybe it's the northern air. Maybe it was time away from work and a desire for excellence. Your editing was superb! Go ground squirrels. Where's Beatrix Potter when we need her? Doing marijuana? I think I saw her tonight in Washington DC. Of course you may remember that love is deep and shallow, there and here. No limit. Your wonderful consideration of both yourselves and your viewers here, I think, does evoke love. And what better reason to watch?

Guys - get bear spray, and you each must have a can easily accessible at all times while you are outside. That means on your belt or backpack strap, not in any pocket or similar. Black bears are one thing, do not fool with grizzly bears!

My dears, please have your bear spray in easy grasp and get familiar with how to use it. While it’s cool in the mornings, the upside is it kills the mosquitoes which are voracious in Alaska 😱Otherwise, have a wonderful time in the Last Frontier.🏕🏔

Yes, it’s not the easiest to get solid quality bread in America. Thankfully once you reach the west coast like Washington, Oregon and especially along California you will find more true bakeries that make European style fresh bread. Just in case you find yourself really craving the good stuff 😉

Hi guys! Was just wondering how big your gas/diesel tank is? Most of them here are 25 gallons. I love the Thor Gemini/compass on the Ford Transit but think it might be too small of a tank to drive to Alaska? But if that is what yours is, it gives me hope! In my dream world again lol
@NaickKim

Groetjes, Gilberte

So glad you guys made it to Denali. On your way down to Argentina you have to drive through hwy101 especially from Newport , Oregon and south. To me it’s the most beautiful coastline in the US. And don’t miss crater lake. The whole Pacific Northwest is very beautiful.
