FiRST Trip w/ the SiLVER BULLET - Upgraded Electric Axial RYFT | RC ADVENTURES

It has been an awesome build.. and I think with a few extra tweaks.. I will get some more power out of that stock ESC. It was difficult to get a good test today, as the consistency of the snow was thick, and wet.. and although this would be ideal - the depth of the snow was the downfall. Ironically - the Ottsix USD 2.2 Sticky's were HUGE - but the snow was even MORE HUGE! Heh.. So, until I get a good melt around here.. this project is shelved - but I think I am ready for the Rocky Creek runs, and the hill climbs when the time is right...

I just thought of it when you mentioned the antenna placement and said snorkel, the scale snorkel on trail trucks would be a great place to run the antenna up to the top. It would make it kinda a functional snorkel. 🤔

I think it did quite well for the conditions out in the snow. It handles the deep stuff well. What can you expect once the tires are floating there is no traction to find. If it were a colder day it would have had much success

That truck is an awesome build, you did everything right, I luv those tires, you can’t get much better than those, and I think it did an a amazing job , for the type of snow that you was going threw, so to total up my thoughts on its first run: I’d say perfect!!!! Do the driver & navigator have heated & water proof jumpsuits? I can't image it's very comfortable running thru the snow & freezing cold water. But the Silver Bullet looks damn good. I like the glow lights & the huge tires!! 00

I got a Holme Hobbie 540l 2700 with a castle copper head and with the 2speed and sensored motor first gear is crazy slow and controlled. love those red lights I think I’m gonna get some green for mine. My point lol people say how it’s to fast but with that 2 speed I can actually crawl with it. Good rigs So glad you came back sir

I’ve been wanting to get a new crawler like a RC4WD Trail finder, axial xcs10-3 or a TRX-4. But they are SO EXPENSIVE IN CANADA. They go up to 700+ dollars. And I’ve been trying to also get an Xbox series x and man. The RC hobby is so expensive.

I put my fly sky receiver in a zip lock bag and zip tie it but after a while condensation gets in it so you have to take it out of the bag if you see water build up but I never hurt one yet like that!!! Have a wraith bouncer and she is a beast too love the new rig!!!!!
