PROJECT: "SiLVER BULLET" - 2 SPEED Axial RYFT RBX10 BUiLD COMPLETE | RC ADVENTURES

I have been planning this project for well over a year, and its great to finally have ALL of my upgrades finally bought, shipped, ready, and NOW INSTALLED! There is more in this video than the preview/thumbnail picture or title can capture for you.. and I hope this film gives you a great overview of my vision. Granted - this is all bolt on parts.. that anyone can get - and truly all I have done was build it to my taste. More customization and fun will be coming with this rig.. but now it is a GREAT Platform to start with! The 2 stage transmission is something I have long desired, because as a crawler this Rock Bouncer will Kick some series trails, but as a Basher, this thing will RIP up those HiLLS! I did get my 2.2 OttSix USD Sticky Tires and Bead Lock Wheels in.. as well as being able to demonstrate why my shocks are "upside down". If you are wondering the shocks are Integy MSR-10. More to come on this wonderful build.. and a whole season of bouncing is at my fingertips!

What kind of noticeable difference in weight do you notice between the Integy shock style vs traditional smooth style? Looks amost cheap in design, although I know it is not. An AWESOME build. I wish I had some build projects. Those new tires are going to make a hell of a difference to the way that rig tackles the terrain. I dont think you will be short of grip thats for sure. I love this hobby and the ability it give you to make the RC your own.

Sorry for being late to the party!!!!! I've had my ryft kit together for two weeks, love it!!!! That slide guide bar on the tranny for the shifting fork. I stuck that in my drill and sanded smooth now no resistance. Bull that we are supposed to buy spectrum micro servo just for the bottom part. I used crazy glue and baking soda to make it work no spring being used. All dialed in on my gt5 skyfly channel 3.

Right now I'm building the axial scx 10 3 jeep Rubicon and needed the two micro servos and realized I needed the same part for the servo saver , long story short I ordered the only servo with that part with it ( scx107) spectrum. LOVE it!! My Ryft kit arrives on Monday. I'll be all stock initially, but plan to eventually add metal axles, suspension arms, portals, who knows what else.

Vitavon do a swaybar relocation kit that would maybe fit with the dual shocks. the shocks are unsprung weight so does not make as much difference to weight up high. I find when doing motor mount bolts with a lot of threadlok it is better to use a good quality high watt soldering iron. If you do not want to add rear steer rear dig would be a good compromise and in some cases a better option. It sounds like some spooky film effects with that wind whistling LOL. You would be better off with a two or three position switch rather than a dial, going very slow will limit the grinding it just drops in. I have Badlands on my HPI Baja 5B although very old so not belted but grip wise they are like Velcro but for a Rock Bouncer I would run narrower tyres like those shown, loveing this build.

Hey man love my ryft but damn the 2 speed gave me so much issues with it. Starting with missing piece for shifting saver assembly and ending with the inside having horrible tolerances and gears skipping. Those 4 knobs that engage shifting gears skip, they do not engage properly and I spent whole afternoon with dremel chipping slowly at the case and the gears themselves giving the shifting rod more throw. At first i though it was the micro servo skipping so I swapped to solid servo arm, still skips so for testing purposed I locked it in gear with zip tie at max throw…and it still skipped. Poke around on KZbin where people cut the clearances it will save you some broken parts

It don't matter if it's built at the factory or if I buy it used. The first thing I do when I buy a new rig is tear it completely down and make sure everything's greased right and the bearings are good. I made the mistake and not doing that once and it was completely bad juju.

I had such a headache with my rtr trying to use the 2speed conversion without the spektrum only servo saver, I made sure not to install the 2 speed on my kit version. I now need to either get the spektrum servo saver or just go back to single speed on my rtr ryft. This this is a beast medic, those clear vanqiush axles are so choice.

normal when you test a gear box don't let the throttle cut it change gear throttle you gonna smash the gearbox if you do it with the vehicle in run due to forces..
