Love the spread!! Btw the explanation/phrase/word you were looking for to explain your idea was monochrome! Each character has their own monochromatic color scheme :) I also wonder if the purple had trouble since it is a darker color so the pigment might have messed with the formula of the ink? Who knows lol

YES! MONOCHROME! I always manage to forget that word 😅 That is axactly what I was trying to say 😁❤ Also the purple honestly baffles me, you could be right, it might be that specific colour Ohuhu I used over the top of it reacted badly with it as I let the Purple line art dry for almost 24 hours in this one, but in another piece I used the purple pen for it didn't smudge and I only left it maybe 1 or 2 hours to dry??? Very odd

This video convinced me to buy these pens! So good advertising I suppose. They were on sale and they seem great. I’m hoping to use them for mixed media as lineart under watercolours with alcohol markers, gouache and coloured pencils to sketch and add details on top. I already have some from other brands but more makes me less afraid to run out and some of the exact colours here may be a touch different. I’ll have to test the violet maybe give it even longer to dry and set into the paper? Still it seems worth the investment as the price was very reasonable and they are water and alcohol proof!

I keep hearing such good things about the live One Piece im going to have to watch it. I’m worried I will be disappointed still. Have you seen the Bleach live action?? 😭😭it was so disappointing. To many people who feel the same way I do with live action are giving props to this show. Your spread came out so dope 🥰

I think I saw the first 5 mins of Bleach live action and kinda just gave up 😅 but this one was legit so good, I really was expecting it to be trash like the others but it was just so much fun! And you could tell a lot of the actors were having fun with it too and I think that really helped

I remember watching One Piece when I was younger and then I stopped when I couldn't anymore so I don't know all the new crew mates and I am eager to start reading the manga... I am not too sure on the anime, I've been really into reading lately but I think I will watch when I am caught up on the manga..1000+ chapters, I am ready

OMG OK SO with the light blue guy (sorry I don't watch one piece, I just love watching you create your art) he kinda looks like some squirtle/pokemon official art I have seen. Maybe it is just the sunglasses in combination with the light blue colours you chose, but that is the kinda vibe his illustration remind me of! The purple smudging could have to do with the dye in the marker itself. Some are more easily activated that others.

what coloured pencils are you using!? are they erasable?

I'm using Faber Castell Polychromos. They're not completely erasable, but you can mostly erase them, especially if you use them really lightly. I always find I have ghosting left over when I use them 👌
