First two Coke Polar Bear Commercials

These were the first two commercial produced featuring the Coke Polar Bears. Ed Murphy is the Santa depicted in the first one and the only non-animated part of any of the commercials

I think the "Northern lights" commercial was actually the first one, where the polar bears are gathered watching the aurora borealis. It aired in 1993.

I don't think Polar Bears are that nice, but they are so pretty. LOL!!! I just love the second one with the baby bears trying to move the Christmas Tree uphill, and, when they aren't able to do it, momma bear comes to help. That's so sweet! I can image my daughter when she was little trying to do something like that on her own, then her dad or I or both of us would come to help (She'll be 18 next year...2022). She can do a lot on her own now.

No, Rhythm & Hues animated these. The Aurora Borealis was first, and the Luge and Ski Jump were next for the Lillehammer Winter Olympics. I worked there. They're the studio that won the Oscar for VFX on Life of Pi.
