Pike owns the day. It is almost unbelievable that those awesome pikes would not be collected for decodes. As if nobody knew they are there. I doubt that. So many new fish are showing up in lasts few years. Brazil shipment never disappoints.

Agreed, Brazil put conservation programs in place to regulate fish collection and it's paying off. The fish are pricier but absolutely worth it in terms of quality, as seen with these stunning pikes. As a bonus, their harvest is sustainable so there's no risk of the cichlid populations crashing from overcollecting either.

You should take a look at aquatic plant farms in Thailand if you get chance you could get huge java ferns on wood for next to nothing last time I was there they also don't need water to ship so that would save money

Fortunately due to the rarity and cost of the plecos predatory fins brings in, these guys won't get dumped into a local ecosystem as more informed hobbists are the ones purchasing the fish. It also isn't on predatory fins if people are poor pet owners. Keep bringing in these amazing fish y'all!

Yes. I'm aware that it isn't just the sellers responsibility. I'm just saying that even after knowing how fish like plecos, goldfish and lionfish ruin entire ecosystems. How can anyone have a sane conscious Are you waiting for things to get to a point where a ban is eventually introduced

@Strange_Shard same could be said about guns, you got people who use them for violence yet they still dont have gun bans. Is it the government's fault? Is it the gun stores fault? No, like everyone says, it's the individual. It's that concept of if one person can't have it, then everyone shouldnt be able to. That "should" be implemented, but it never will because it causes more sour mouths than leaving it alone. Negligence is going to be a thing but PredatoryFins cannot regulate their customers, sure maybe IN PERSON sales. But online, there's just a trust of you know what you are doing. They always state it in a few videos "make sure you know what you are buying" "make sure you have the proper tank setup for this fish" does that stop people? Some. But most are impulse buyers who want it and cope with saying they have a plan until the time comes where that plan dont work out anymore. Like a very used phrase, "you can't help stupid."
