First Video! My 2024 Language Plan

hi hello! this is my first video, if you're new here, so am I!
I didn't realize how awkward being in front of a camera would feel lol, so now there's this masterpiece of cinema.
the short version is that in 2024 I'll be focusing on 4 languages for 3 months each, and keeping up with french on the side. the languages I'll be focusing on are brazilian portuguese, norwegian, greek, and italian.

Greetings from Sub 31 😁 Out of your selected languages, I have studied Greek. It is a very fun language! Would say there is an initial hurdle of getting used to the genders and spelling can be a challenge, especially with vowels, because so many sound exactly the same 😑 My Achilles Heel is Χρησιμοποιώ All the vowels except ω are pronounced like iota (eeee) 😵‍💫

Record your monthly progress, and make a collection video after 1 year or 2 years etc, it will make you very happy to see your progress over time. I made my collection video of learning French for 2 years and posted on KZbin. It just makes me very happy that I have come so far.

It sounds a bit extreme, unrealistic, the motivations behind your studies seem very weak, I think at some point you will feel that it is not worth the effort. It seems to me that the more languages one learn, the harder it becomes to keep the ones one already know, it is as if the knowledge is being replaced or displaced. And even if you succeed (after years), I think you will forget them faster than it took you to learn them.
