I believe that, so many opportunities there! While shooting my other tallarook video with Matt and his troopy we came across a GQ that'd been stuck in a bog hole for an hour and a half!!!

A few years ago , the tow of us in my PS-QE went down this track and we were sliding left and right because there was so much mud. Even going as slow as we were, if was difficult to keep the car straight .

If it was remotely wet at all, which it sounds like it was, I'm not surprised, this was like grease when we were there, even though it hadn't rained for a few days.

Would’ve been a quiet drive after you managed to get out of there. You weren’t keen to utilise the recovery boards?

@disco1984-x5x it was. In that situation would have been just leap frogging the boards. Winching was the easier option given how far we had to go.

Enjoy your videos. Apologies if you mentioned this in the video, but the stuff requiring winching, what tyre pressures where U using? And what size & brand are they?

Thx mate. So this trip.... started at 40 PSI, because well we weren't going 4wd'ing were we.... Dropped to 22 on the rear and 20 on the front. Prior to needing to winch, that was the first stop. Maybe could have gone lower. Tyre's are 275/65R18 Falken Wildpeak AT3's. That mud was just like grease, not very deep but slippery as. The guys on the motorbikes were walking beside their bikes and trying to get them back up (while running) and they couldn't get traction either.

Hi it's Brad again I'm interested to know in this video are just in low range traction control or do you have the rear diff lock engaged?

Hey Brad, yeah had the rear difflock engaged. So without the traction control mod, no traction control.

I feel lucky. I almost drove a lifted (gutless) Subaru with no low range down this road to get to the reservoir Sure it’s capable for what it is but I’m glad I didn’t attempt this

Condition and challenge here varies markedly with weather. Drove this with Matt in his troops dry. Took 5 minutes. 🙂
