That block set for Riley is really nice; it's so varied. She can begin learning some pastels and mixed colors and build anything. Jackson looks like he's living his best life in tummy time nowadays; just checking out everything. Soon he'll be on the move. He hears you talking all the time to Riley or Joe or us, so of course he is vocalizing when he's playing on his mat. He's practicing for when he joins the conversation. Joe's working from what location at Mimi's house? Glad to hear about Walmart pick-ups. I may need to try those if they do not do too many substitutes. As long as Riley takes an hour quiet time or a nap and is settled in case she falls asleep then that gives you some leeway to have adult time for whatever you may need. Jackson may just be aware there's a lot going on and wants to be around it all. You'll see how it goes. So good that Riley gets out in the yard with Mimi who can teach her the difference between the grass and weeds or flowers and weeds. Here's hoping Riley likes school when she goes because she's going to find out that's her work to go to daily. Right now it's play. Jackson's giggles with Joe on the couch are too cute. He is controlling his head and neck well.

Hi Kayla! I just started sleep training my 4 month old with the Ferber method. How strict are you following it? We have been a bit inconsistent as I have been sleep training and my husband has not been while I am work. I let her cry for 12-20 minutes. I have found that when my husband picks her up it just pisses her off and kinda starts the clock over again; if he had not picked her up she would have fallen asleep. My daughter was doing well with naps and also would wake up twice a night but she uses pacifier and I wanted her to self soothe without the pacifier.

You might try not putting him down so late in the afternoon and then putting him to bed earlier and he might sleep better at night!!! Just a thought you might try?? Put him down for his nap earlier and do 1 long nap and early to bed.

I used a pillow with both of my kids and Isaiah had flat head. Needed to wear a helmet but Amelia is now almost 4 still perfect knock on wood. 🤔🤷‍♀️

The hanging toys usually have different textures and little bells or something. Those help develop their sense of touch and hearing so very useful!
