This is what I needed to see. I'll be living in Tennessee and my family lives in Florida. We did this trip once and it was absolutely miserable. We were stopping every 30 minutes. Of course my daughter was 8 months. Things could be different.

Good to see the two babes safely ensconced in their car seats quietly at the beginning of the trip anyway. Poor Riley having to listen to Jackson cry and not understand that he's OK, but needs to just move his larger muscles some. And her hair looks gorgeous even after riding in the car for hours. Who needs a poop explosion from Jackson when you had the good fortune of strawberry fountains from Riley? Hope that car seat is easy to clean well. There is no harm in telling Riley that the authorities of our country have told people to wear masks for safety from the nasty bug that kept everyone at home for a long time. Both babes look so much more relaxed on the beds at the hotel where they can move in whatever direction they want. Riley looked like she'd rather live with her grandparents, which is typical kid. And Jackson looked like "who are these people," even in his body language. LOL. I hope Jackson's sleep training doesn't get totally wiped out by the stay in Florida. Just wear masks and use hand-sanitizer and practice social-distancing. If you don't care about yourself, think of those you may harm and will never have to know their families buried them. We should all behave as though we have it and that will keep everyone safe. There are even way more cases in NY now of kids with the strange inflammatory disease cropping up after they have it. So, this is one nasty capricious killer virus. How many have to die for people to just do the right thing? Kayla, your face mask makes you look like you give a fig about others and health and wellness and social responsibility. No one cares anymore about the fashion statement. People are dying. People worldwide have been wearing face masks for decades when we have been fortunate enough to not get hit by the worst of many pandemics. We take a hit in this country and people, instead of worrying about one another, are carrying on about looking like robbers. Not anymore. People think you look rational and careful in most places with a mask on. It's the adult, good citizen thing to do. If it saves one life, isn't it worth it? When people are trying to practice behaviors that could save lives, why is any serious adult talking about not looking like a runway model on parade? Aren't you fortunate to be attractive enough that when the masks come off and the pandemic is conquered, you will go back to being an attractive person who can be pleased with herself when looking at her outsides in a mirror? You have good instincts that are part of the development of a good person on the inside, so don't allow what nature at random gave you on the outside to dominate what you've worked at and earned inside. Compliance is modelling good behavior for your children because this pandemic will recur over the next year or two and there will be others coming. The more the polar ice caps melt, God knows what contagions will be unleashed. But we won't be careful of the planet's health and spare ourselves that either. When did people stop believing those who know about medicine? Yet if their loved ones need medical help, they are pushing their way in line to be sure they get proper care - from whom, all those folks who don't know jack shit about what they are talking about after decades of research? By Jove, they want their expertise suddenly.
