I dont even have to purchase the extra set of jelly model nails to do this that I thought I did. Just use the tips I already have on top of the tips I already have. Thank you for this. At this point just need a silicone hand in my price point. 🤣

Ive been struggling with my brush sticking to the acrylic, almost like my bead is too wet but im very careful to remove excess monomer before making the bead and draining it on a paper towel before placing it. Any tips?
@NeonNailz4 жыл бұрын
If it’s sticking to the brush it’s probably too dry of a bead. The wet beads slip off the brush. I would say practice liquid to power ratio and i have another video on how to lay the acrylic 😊
@lauraintheskywithdiamonds91853 жыл бұрын
So you slid a nail tip up to where the cuticle is and then after you filed it you attached another nail tip so this can save you gluing the nail onto the silicone ? Such a great tip because I was confused on how you would put glue on and get it off the silicone without ruining the hand. Thanks for this video 🙌🏼
@NeonNailz3 жыл бұрын
Yes ma’am so what i did was put glue on a full covered nail tip and cut the free edge off and glued a regular tip to that one and put clear acrylic on it so i could use it over and over. Thank you so much for watching!

I just received my license this past summer. It takes me several hours start to finish for a set of nails. Do you have any recommendations for cutting down the time it takes to do a set? Also, I remember when I was 21 I realized I didn't know anything. Up until then, I thought I had all the answers. 😆
@NeonNailz3 жыл бұрын
@holly h. So really the only thing that will cut down time is practice. Once you have your prep work down that’s usually the longest part of the set. I personally spend extra time on prep because that can make or break a set. Another thing that will help cut down time is knowing your liquid to powder ratio. That is also key. You don’t wanna spend a lot of time chasing beads and then having to correct it later because that also take up time. I wouldn’t worry too much about time because eventually your work will speak for itself and the clients won’t care how long it takes for the most part. What bothers them when when nails start popping off. In prep once you get it down you’ll know what you can leave out and still have a long lasting set. I hope this helps you 🤗
@HaH3nry3 жыл бұрын
@@NeonNailz thank you so much. I do spend quite a bit of time on prep. I now have a set up outside to be able to practice with acrylic. I also just received my red iguana hand. Have a great holiday time with your kids.

Wait a little bit before you start trying to work your bead down, or swipe it. I use to have that same problem and it was because I was trying to swipe down or bring down my bead too early, I had to let it sit a little bit.

@NeonNailz2 жыл бұрын
Hey girl hey! So when you have too much acrylic continue to wipe it down as normal and take your brush and remove the excess at the free edge of the nail. It’ll take some trial and error to know how much acrylic your need for the different length. That’s what i do
