Everytime when man wants decent life for himself. He is a servant of dark gods. Bloody imperium logic
@unclesam17562 жыл бұрын
Awesome narration as always, ABP. Last I checked, though, my boy Grimnar did a little more than just voice his opposition to the inquisition's policies. But really, the inquisition is just baffling to me. They're basically going around saying "The God Emperor is good and beneficent and you need to worship him to save your soul. Save it from what you ask? Uhh... nothing. There's no such thing as hell or demons or evil gods. Now get to praying. Heretics get the bolt." If they actually made people aware of chaos and the consequences of messing around with it, there would be a lot fewer Imperial citizen that just pay lip service to the Emperor. I bet half the demonic incursions in the galaxy are caused by idiot teens playing with ouji boards, because "what's the harm? It's not like demons are real." And I've said it several times before, but every time GW wants to have a big war they just conveniently forget that the inquisition exists. With how oppressive the Imperium is you'd think that important worlds like Armageddon would be under permanent scrutiny for signs of chaos cults and xenos infiltration. But no, they just come in after the planet has been completely fucked and kill all the survivors because we can't have people knowing that our enemies are actually real.
@cousinzeke48882 жыл бұрын
Making people aware of chaos, no matter how much you try to warn them against it, is the fastest highway straight to corruption.
@jackrogers57122 жыл бұрын
@@cousinzeke4888 Exactly. The whole point of the Imperium is that it's the most tyrannical regime imaginable which we're meant to find repugnant. Yet, given the realities of the galaxy in the 41st millennium, this level of authoritarianism is actually a necessity - if the average Imperial citizen learned the truth about what's actually out there (intergalactic locust swarm that's likely to consume everything, ancient intelligent machines who harness the power of literal gods, rampaging asexually reproducing monsters who thrive on conflict, piratical raiders who you'd rather die a thousand deaths than let them take you alive etc) it would create a panic and society would cease to function. That's without even needing to worry about the insidious threat of Chaos corruption.
@illegalopinions40822 жыл бұрын
@@cousinzeke4888 Not talking about Chaos isn't doing much to stop them. If anything it leaves them susceptible to manipulation from a threat they are unaware of. Some people will always lean into it. They are the ones already likely to turn, and this weeds them out quicker.

@@ABorderPrince Oh I'm extremely familiar with the 40k universe thanks to brilliant channels such as yours and as such I know the vast majority of space marine chapters and of course the imperium at large are ready and willing to sacrifice any amount of lives if it secures victory. However sentencing the brave men and woman of Armageddon to slave labor despite fighting with such tenacity that even the space wolves recognized their courage is just beyond sickening even by the standards of 40k.
