I am so happy that you enjoy your history classes. If I could do it all again, I would have majored in art history, history, sociology, and maybe something witchy. I was an English and Creative Writing major, but I wish I had taken more of the other stuff. I had always thought I would be a writer, so I went into school with that impression and didn't change my major, or at least explore much else with other classes. History is incredible, especially art history. One of my favorite artists is Caravaggio. When my husband and I were in Rome a billion years ago, we happened upon a church that had one of his paintings, hanging in a dark chapel-corner of the church, and you had to pay a few coins to turn a very soft light onto the painting to view it for a few minutes. It was so earth-shattering for me, I was so surprised to come across one of my favorite artists, and I literally started crying.
