I'm a native Chicagoan, here are some things and places you HAVE to check out while you're here! -Sweet Mandy B's is a cute bakery with bomb sweets and treats (their cupcake frosting is to die for) -Lou Malnati's deep-dish pizza (the Gold Coast neighborhood has a super cute sit-down restaurant of it) -Portillo's: amazing Chicago style hot dogs, chocolate cake shakes (milkshake with chocolate cake in it), and their chopped salads are amaze, too The Ba'hai temple in Wilmette (a suburb) is stunning and right by the beach, if the weather is nice. My feet slip out of pumps too! It's because I have narrow heals, so there is a chance you do as well. Invest in some ankle grip inserts or a pair up pumps with ankle straps ;)

I live in Chicago! Go to Stan’s Donuts !!!! And Pizano’s Pasta and Pizza by millennium park for deep dish. I also recommend the art institute. It’s not as big as the Met but it’s in millennium park and close to the museum campus.

Where in Chicago will you be? Rosemont? I live in burbs of Chicago. If you want to go go downtown, you can take the cta train blue line or red line. If not close to those, look into metra train. If you want to try Chicago style pizza, look into Lou malnatis, giordanos, or Gino’s east. If you want nightlife, I recommend heading to river north area downtown. Either way, enjoy!
