I have been watching dermatologists skin care routines and they never seem to use face oils. One of them said that they can break you out so I stopped using them. Ever since my skin has been so much better. Maybe it is the argan oil... :)

Hey girl! My skin broke out for two months straight when I moved here to nyc so i think that it is so normal for your body to be adjusting to a new place. It could also be working on computer with your face in your hand or something random like that combined with stress? Just know you are still so beautiful and it’s not NEARLY as noticeable as you think it is. ❤️❤️❤️
@NatalieBarbu5 жыл бұрын
Aw thank you♥️ so true. Never thought about the hand when I work which I feel like I do touch my face a lot!

@@NatalieBarbu Hey Natelie, it could only be about the change of your life, but one more thing you could do is get your teeth checked. Even if you dont have other symptons, sometimes cysts or inflammation can cause breakout or acne on the skin. Just a tip if you can't think of anything else, it happened with me. By the way you are a great motivation :)

I use a witch hazel toner after washing my face and then apply tea tree oil (diluted w/ water) onto breakouts with a q-tip! I find that sticking with natural things works best for my skin. I also just tried out The Mighty Patch pimple patches...they are AMAZING! They only work for whiteheads and breakouts that have reached the surface, but they are definitely worth trying! For preventative stuff, I make sure to wash/change my pillowcases every week and try to not touch my face a lot. but sometimes acne is inevitable! we are all still beautiful, acne or no acne :)

Hey Natalie, I had the same breakout like yours, exactly just on one spot on my cheek. My derm said it was bacterial infection and prescribed me antibiotics for 2 weeks. I went for facial to do extractions on the pimples and now my skin has recovered.

For a little help for the acne, I was getting the same breakouts in the same location and I started to do a really strict, morning and evening regimen which is; AM: cleanse, tone, moisturize, and protect(spf) and PM: cleanse, exfoliate, tone, serum, moisturize. Skincare is honestly your best bet if you know its not diet, stress, or environmental causes(pollution or pillowcase). Hoped that helped!

I saw you using shape tape.... ditch the shape tape. Invest in 100% laura mercier for foundation, concealer and setting powder. Apply with your fingers. Use a disposable sponge to apply powder. Throw it out after a couple uses. I can’t stand ‘beauty blenders’. Only use brushes for eyeshade and dusting off excess powder before you use setting spray. Also, some birth control helps some people skin clear up. If you have a dermatologist see if spironolactone would be good for you. Best of luck! I also broke out a ton when I first moved to nyc. That’s just part of it, but making these changes has helped me a ton!

Try the alba botanica dots! They are little patches you put on your pimple and it makes it disappear. You can put makeup over the patches too and they aren’t visible. You can get the dote pimple patches at target.
