Happy holidays Mrs. Angela! My name is Raina, I am a recently new subscriber from Maryland and I absolutely love your videos. You are an inspiration to me living your best life! I am recently retired(July 2024) and desire to be a future glamper. I have been gathering some materials over the past couple years preparing for this new side of life. I already love long walks outdoors, kayaking, and nature in general, but videos like yours and others have inspired me to step into the world of day camping(not quit ready for overnight just yet :) I saw your most recent video, and heard your response to the person who commented negatively about your camping style. Your response was classy and to the point. As a future camper, it is your "glamping" style that encourages me to want to get into a lifestyle that I might otherwise might not try because it would seem to rugged and uncomfortable for my liking. I love the outdoors, but I like comfort too and I don't apologize for that. It is my prayer that you not be discouraged by the naysayers. As a woman of color, you are an inspiration to others out here who want to venture into new things but may be a little hesitant to try something new. Please keep creating wonderful, relaxing, beautiful content. You never know whose life you are touching.

One Of the Best parts of camping solo or with one other person is, you can make whatever you want to eat. Because that is what you have a taste for. And some people can't eat hotdogs, or hamburgers it will make them sick. So it doesn't matter what you are eating when you go camping. YOU ARE STILL CAMPING!! 🤗🤗 So Enjoy yourself Gaia, Love your set ups and videos.

Honey, you did that; yes you did. You laid the tent out. Now, are there locks on the zippers? You could probably put another layer such as a curtain for more privacy. I like everything about it. If nothing else, you have a job decorating tents. Congratulations and enjoy!

Nice setup in the tent, looks very cozy. Winter camping can be nice as there are no crowds and you can relax as long as you are prepared for the cold, which I can tell you are.! ~Nikki

Great vid! I have a few tents I need to get out myself, to include the Olymmons inflatable dome your friend had in one of your earlier videos this year. You're absolutely right that your camp is YOUR camp. There are times I camp like a rockstar and others I fade back to Marine expeditionary packing. I'm sure the commenter wouldn't want to shoulder a 65-80 lb frame pack for 20 miles and dine on MREs. 😂 Keep doing what you're doing. You have plenty of support out here!

This is nice. I did the old fashioned camping when i was a kid and i enjoyed it. But I was a kid. As an adult you can not get me to go camping unless its like this (glamping.) If I cant camp in style and comfort with personal shower tent or bathtub tent. (I saw a video on that and was like I gotta try that ) then im not going. Im not a lay on the ground sleeping with nature no bath for days woman.

People kill me when they say you're not camping when you have the comforts of home in a tent. Then they want to say you're "Glamping". But I never hear people say you're not camping when you have an RV with a bathroom w/ shower, full kitchen, queen sized mattress, 50" TV, really??? People have been RVing forever but as soon as tenters make things "AS" comfortable, then they're no longer camping. Make that make sense.🤷
