If there’s ever a river to bring sandshrimp to, that’s the one lol…some glory days down there when nothing else would entice a bite. Something about that bay I think and the amount of shrimp it has.

Beautiful chrome fish. This time of year we find all our fish in deep holes with slow current (like a slow walk). Water temps are low and they aren’t in a hurry to get anywhere. The faster chutes I just go on by in the winter. Once spring arrives and temps start coming up the fish need to get somewhere and they can be caught in the faster water. The hole where you caught the fish looked perfect for soaking a bait.
