Maybe for the treadmill you can cover it with paper or a small piece of cloth/towel (?) and uncover it every now and then to check the time

Or set up a timer on your phone and then cover the timer completely and you won't do extra running. I don't wanna butt in lol but i imagine how tiring it must be to see that timer
