Excellent video. I've been to Ph twice 2023 for about 3.5 weeks each time. Always flying to Cebu from Boston Ma Usa. Been to Bohol ×2.. Bantyan island ×1 El nido ×1. Stayed in Cebu just 2 nights as a starting point. Coming again Nov 2024 for 3 weeks, then to Thialnd for 3.5 weeks. So far, where did you like the best Living? Im going to be a snowbird in the next 4 years, so I take 12 weeks exploring. Still have younger kids in school. Budget is not an issue. Happiness is.. I really liked Bohol.. close to Cebu for air travel, so great beaches, friendly locals. But you dont know what else could be great if you dont move on!

Hello, THanks for the comment. I have been to every place mentioned but El Nido. Waiting on my son for that one. We will take about three weeks in the Palawan area. If you SCUBA did you to to Malapascua yet? It is a great dive destination and I enjoyed the Thrasher Sharks. So far my top two are Dauin (South of Dumeguete) and Panglao, Bohol. I like Bohol for the beaches all around Panglao. Not a big fan of Alona, a lot better beaches in Panglao. I was moving every 3-4 months - on my fourth move currently in Iloilo. Getting tired of moving so frequently, so either going to Panglao or Dauin for about a year and travel around from home base. Also do Kawason Falls in South Cebu. Take care, Jerry

Thank you for sharing. I liked and subscribed, because you have provided excellent content on this subject. Question for you. Would it be a problem for me coming to the Philipines now during the current weather season? Obviously, people are living there during typhoon season, so how bad is is it? I'm thinking late July or August.

Hello THanks for the comment. My First year (last year) was very mild. Here in June and so far in July it has been raining. But it is not bad. Worst case I think I have two half day shut-outs due to rain. Usually stops after and hour or two and most often in the evening. I would not allow that to stop you as long as you know there is more chance of rain and you are OK with that. But again, it does not last long. Hope you have a great trip. Take care, Jerry
