I was so excite to join the forces, but application process in Edmonton office just made me feel like i shouldn't. it is just a waste of your time and if you're from a remote area in Alberta good luck getting a response from the Edmonton office. my buddies appied in Ontario and they were happy with the assistance they got. It was smooth and easy i wish i lived in Ontario. But never gonna try again in Alberta honestly

Good, if a slow application process is stopping you, then serving your country isn’t for you. Take some initiative and don’t stop calling/emailing your office until you get the response you’re looking for

I had an excellent experience with the Edmonton officer and I'm going to boot in September. Keep trying. Make sure you let them know you aren't in the city so they can schedule things all in one day

If you are super keen, I think they allow you to join an army cadet corps if you are 12 +. That's what it was 24 yrs ago anyway :P Not every city has one though.

I see a lot of out of shape people that wouldn’t have made when I joined in 2004 it’s sad seeing this in such bad shape. Bring back standards by first bringing back the warrior culture. Stop with quotas and just bring in the best possible candidates.

sad..sad ..sad state of affairs...90% of them need a hair cut and shave, women have a long pony tail and not a bun up or hair under the beret. Dress needs a major over haul. Fitness? lacking. I do know not all of these future officers are not Infantry but the dress and deportment should be the same. They are ment to lead by example. If this is an example to follow Thank god i am no longer in the CF. God help the next generation of CF members.
