I came across your channel while looking for which puppy to get - Samoyed or Husky. Both of them are the most handsome dogs truly. But I don't find much on Graham on your channel except the video where you say they're more difficult to train. Any insights would help!

Samoyed is the white dog, Pure Husky , and the third dog looks half Poodle and half Sheep dog maybe, not sure. Cute dogs

I wouldn’t recommend at once for sure. I think it’s easier to get one pup, train it, have it be a bit older, then add the second if you want a second!

He sheds like crazy 😂 it takes daily brushing, daily vacuuming, grooming every 8 weeks… and accepting hair everywhere anyway. Worth it! 💯

They BLOW their coats twice a year when the majority of shedding takes place. the rest of the year two iRobot vacuums help to keep the house dog hair free.

I really don't understand why people send their dogs away to 'Learn to be good puppies '. Is this an American thing?

It’s a board & train program some trainers offer! I think it’s a good option for people who want a puppy and work out of home all day, people who want guided training but someone else training their pup to set up a good foundation, etc. If it helps keep more pups in homes & out of the shelter, I’m all for it 🙌🏻

​@@katrinamartin5845i think it's genuinly kind of wierd. The puppy phase is crucial for bonding and it makes no sense to send the dog away while it's so young. Train the dogs yourself. You want the dog to be attached to you! That comes from someone who has owned samoyeds for over 20 ish years.

I live in northern Illinois in USA. There’s a training school for dogs about 10 to 15 miles away from me called TOPS. They offer various programs. Training classes, private training, and yes, there is this option of “boarding school” where the owner drops the dog off for a few weeks of onsite training. I guess it’s a good option for dog owners who travel or if the owner has to undergo a serious surgery with a long period of recovery.
