Little Drummer Boy was the first Pentatonix song I ever heard. This brings back SUCH MEMORIES, I can't even express it. This song had just come out, and my mom showed it to us on Facebook when it went viral there. I was 13, and I was *immediately* and irrevocably in love. This CD was the first one I ever bought with my own money, and now at 22, I'm even more of a Pentaholic than I was then.

If you do 3 more, check out The First Noel, Silent Night and My Favorite Things. Or Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, their 3rd Grammy winner. Or the official video of That's Christmas to Me, their original song, with clips of them as kids. Or ... any of them.

They are in Los Angeles on the hill above the city where the observatory is that has been filmed many, many times in movies. Same as with the coats in the desert for Hallelujah done purely for the video. Kirstin was hesitant to take the lead and required quite a bit of encouragement to do it.

Well, for me it’s Christmas 🎄 in July and I’m loving it! First off absolutely love your adorable sweater. I don’t think I’ve ever seen any one do “3” PTX songs in One reaction video. Super great, and the best part is they’re Christmas songs on top of that. I’m ‘that’ person who listens to Christmas music any time of the year. Thanks so much for your triple reaction and MORE Please!!!

In my experience, when most people sing _The 12 Days of Christmas_ their primary concern is whether they can remember the words.
@UserHorologium4 жыл бұрын
My suggestions for part two would be "Carol of the Bells", "Joy to the World", and "Angels We Have Heard on High". Each of them put a nice PTX spin on a classic Christmas song. The most ambitious of the three is the last, which includes several reharmonizations and some exotic chords; when Kevin isn't dropping a beat, he can add a fifth note into a chord, providing jazzy or dissonant notes that are pure ear candy.

Thank you for reacting to these three , it showcased their talents and creativity so we'll. As others have commented, would love to see a Part 2, (would not be mad if you did a 3 and 4😊). Carol of the Bells, Silent Night (live version in a church) and O Come All Ye Faithful are my favorite covers. That's Christmas ToMe (original) is a great one written by Kevin and their latest Thank You (original written by Scott and his partner Mark). Their beautiful cover of Amazing Grace is up there with Hallelujah (to me). Thanks again. 😊

In their earliest videos Kirstin tended to defer to the men a good deal more than she does now. If you want to see the video where she first began to take the lead, check out _Todrick Hall - The Wizard of Ahhhs (ft. Pentatonix)_ kzbin.info/www/bejne/h5y5ln6YZ86aqMk Be warned, however - it won't make much sense to you if you haven't seen the original film _The Wizard of Oz,_ starring Judy Garland, so be sure to watch that first. Kirstin really stepped out of her comfort zone on this one, and you can see that all of the men are incredibly proud of her for it. After that, I think it became easier for her to think of herself as an equal member of the group, and it shows in her performances.
