I must say he was the most polite 'rejector' I have seen this far on first dates New Zealand. It was so obvious she is not somebody who appeals to the masses physically. Awkward alternative big girl here who literally looked like her on this date a few years back. When you're a big lass, sometimes you get friend zoned more often than regular girls and you tend to fit in best "with the boys" - so you pick up habits that make you more "brutish/butch/masculine". I hope she gets into therapy (like I have) and learns to love herself above anyone else. She opened her heart without him having earned it, and that to me says she is not guarding her heart well enough. If she sticks to therapy with a good therapist, my guess is she will find true happiness with or without a man. And if she definitely wants children, she could freeze her eggs and do IVF, or even adopt. Happiness really does not depend on having any man.

When meeting someone new, you should be well aware there is the risk of them not wanting what is best for you. A lot of people are selfish and immature. I was cheated on for years and got a disease because I was too naive and forgiving. I am much happier now, and single by the way. If a good guy come along, great, if he doesn't I will continue to enjoy my life fully.
