Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Orban's recent Russia-Ukraine peace mission has drawn ire of the European Union. Brussels is seemingly upset with Orban's attempt to "bypass the bloc". This comes weeks after Hungary assumed the rotating presidency of the Council of the European Union. Tensions ensued within the bloc after Orban's recent visit to Ukraine and Russia, where he tried to play peacemaker and broker a truce between them. The Hungarian Prime Minister even went on to advise Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to accept ceasefire. In retaliation to Orban's outreach to Russia, EU's top diplomat, Josep Borrell is hosting a rival meeting in Brussels, which was earlier supposed to be held in Hungary's capital Budapest. Palki Sharma tells you more.

Ukraine blocked the Lukoil oil pipeline in the direction of Hungary and Slovakia. Hungary does not receive 35%, Slovakia 45% of oil. The result will be with Ukraine declaring neutrality and surrendering the Ethnic Russian occupied provinces held by Russia since 2014. The result will be peace and Ukraine can start rebuilding with trade and support from the East and the West. Then if they still exist, the EU and NATO can continue to enjoy the peace that has existed in the west since 1946 and since 1989 for the former Soviet Satellite nations.
