After quitting the race, US President Joe Biden endorsed his Vice President Kamala Harris for the democratic ticket. Harris already has the support of a number of democrats including some high-profile leaders such as Bill and Hillary Clinton. Grassroot donors too have extended their support - by donating at least $50 million for the Harris campaign. But Harris is yet to secure the endorsement of influential democrats like former US President Barack Obama. The Democratic convention is scheduled for next month. Palki Sharma tells you more.

She will get the nomination because Biden has broken what could have been a rough path for her by endorsing her.
