I love your stream/small river fishing videos because I have a small river near my house and it’s always good to see how pros like you do it. Well let’s hope you become the best fisher men. Do you ever think you could come down to Calhoun ga (Ik it’s a long shot.) but like I would love to be in a video with you. Keep on fishing and never stop. I love your videos over all the other videos. I asked my mom if I could have some seasoning and she no sadly but only because it was too expensive. As you already said in a different video. pomps, cast one rod close, first trough, then another rod more far. bait shrimp, sandflies, fishbites(etc). then hope they run through and eat! Rig, pretty much chicken rig/high low. maybe one with float, other without.

if you are doing a significant amount of bait fishing, then you should invest in a bait-runner type of reel so you aren't constantly playing with the drag. would give you a better chance to hook the fish. KastKing makes a nice bait runner reel called the sharky that is fairly inexpensive. I have two of them that I use when I am in Florida bait fishing. Work great. Have had them for several years now and no problems. Have used them up North for Striper fishing also. I have a 3000 size and a 6000 size. would suggest a 4000 size as the best all around. Diawa and Shimano also make bait-runner type reels. Have one of each. Also work very well but more expensive.. Enjoy your videos and the fact that you are willing to try many different fishing options. Keep up the good work.

The fish fights for Pompano you can use just a fish bite itself just clip a piece and put it on the hook you didn't have to put shrimp on it I always get the shrimp fish bites Acme I live in New York I live in Staten Island and I use it when I go Porgy fishing and sometimes I get Blue Fish on them too but as what I've been using Fishbites shrimps the best to me

Saltys Pompano rigs are the bomb with fresh dead shrimp and pomp candy or some kind of fish gum bro.. Tryin to give you the true heads up. Hope this helps you. Pink or orange rig has always been my best of luck.. Just sayin...

Fish gum gets way better results than fish bites.. That could be an ultimate challenge for real... Do both with fresh dead shrimp as the main bate over the bar... Or ghost shrimp if you have the opportunity with magic thread...

the best way i found 2 catch pompano is 2 use live or dead sand fleas frozen shrimp an fish gum or fish bite on both hooks on a pomp rig

Your channel has inspired me to start fishing again. I dusted off my old Penn ss reels (26 years old and still work like new) and bought a new surf rod. Also bought a few new spinning reels. Surf fished for the first time since I was a kid and caught some whiting. Then I completely overhauled my Abu Garcia 5500C3 that I got in 86. I was 23 and it was my 1st baitcaster. Went to Jax Pier and used it to catch a few small bonnet heads. Thanks for the vids. I know what you do isn't easy and I applaud the effort.

I just started pompano fishing this year as well. The few big keepers ive been catching always bite right before sun set. Im using the same rigs you are, shrimp plus a small piece of fish bite. I Cast as far as i can, or in a hole. Super tasty fish, my biggest so far is 14in at the fork. 🤘 good luck, brother. love the vids
