Surprised Nick didn’t make a bigger case about Trent McDuffie, dudes been graded as the NFL’s 2nd best corner behind PS2 but didn’t make the pro bowl. Not too mention he’s had pretty good stats to Edit: Y’all saying McDuffie ain’t Pro Bowl level just wrong. He’s The 2nd highest graded corner behind PS2, He has the highest Lockdown Percentage of any Corner by 4% at 66.67%. He leads any corner since he was drafted in Forced Fumbles with 7 and is 2nd in sacks with 4.5. Players in his draft class he’s Tied for 5th with most takeaways and he’s Tied #2 all time in forced fumbles in his first 3 seasons.

Being 15-1 and being a top 3 Quarterback are 2 different things. Lamar, Allen, Burrow are all better this year “statistically” not saying they’re better than Mahomes just numbers-wise. At some level we have to reward the players with the best statistical profile.

Chiefs aren’t a star studded team. They’re a team of good players who fit in the system very well and are very well coached. It’s a TEAM sport. You don’t need a team full of superstars to win and they are showing us that. Coaching, play calling and being a fundamentally sound team is more important than lighting up the stat sheet.

It's so hard for Nick to admit that Mahomes is not leading every single vote or category every single year. He had a decent year but not as good as Lamar or Josh so I'm not sure what that argument is. 15 and 1 is the whole team. Allen or Lamar with the Chiefs would still be 15 and 1.

Mahomes didn't block those FGs, didn't make the opposing team mess up the final snap, didn't kick the doinked FGs. KCs most impressive stats are their luck and defense which is why I believe Mahomes wasn't selected.
