They have a study out called the QB betrayal list. This study is about what teams/coaching/defense and special teams have betrayed them the most with bad plays game management etc. Lamar Jackson is #1 on the list for overcoming bad things around him. Lamar also has better statistics head to head. I know everyone is fatigued from him being so great so long in the regular season and I don’t think he should win MVP this year unless the Ravens win their division but Lamar should be at the top…. Allen Burrow under him, Hurts Mahomes under them.

Bro if Josh and Lamar were on the Chiefs, they very well could be undefeated… Mahomes has been bad this year. Yesterday Nick says that the Chiefs are the best team in the league, and without Mahomes they can be fine. Yet he then says that no one else can have the Chiefs 13-1?? Which one is it? Either Mahomes is lifting a bad team, or he has been mid, and the are winning in spite of him. I think it is the latter: Mahomes has been BAD this year. Missing throws, inaccurate, etc.

Hes not been perfect, but he has been the best qb on 3rd down this season, with most of his weapons either hurt, old, or developing, and literally a bottom five level tackle pairing. Lamar has an established and healthy passing game, and a decent OL. Josh has an incredible OL, and a solid receiving game. The argument is these players dont have the same big moment resume, and despite Mahomes’ mistakes, hes come up big consistently on have-to-have it downs all year, despite the box score stats. Does that make his play better than Allen or Lamar this year? No. But it raises a fair question of “could those two perform in these conditions up to the way Mahomes has?” And i think thats an argument worth having. Not saying anyone has to agree, but i think its fair to discuss that. Because ive seen less hiccups derail both those qbs before, and I’ve seen Mahomes win a superbowl with less than this before.

@@JBT42884 That's like ancient history in NFL time. We could use it to argue against anyone, even Mahomes. Nick used to say it's not about wins, but clearly, it is. If he could be objective, he'd realize that despite Mahomes' clutchness, he's not a top-four quarterback this year. He's probably going to miss the Pro Bowl selection, and he's definitely not going to be an all-pro.
