It makes sense for the Cowboys, who want to stay relevant, with an irrelevant team It doesn't make sense for Prime, who won't coach his son in Dallas, will break many commitments from recruits, heading to Colorado, and will get a team that will not win 10 games for the foreseeable future If Jerry is no longer the GM, and Dink-and-Dak isn't making $55M, it can work, but....

For some reason this will be a controversial comment…the man is .500 in his two seasons at Colorado, he’s 1-6 vs top 25 teams and just got smoked in his first bowl game appearance. Wanting a larger sample size before giving someone the head coaching job of an SBOB team doesn’t seem crazy. He’s a recruiting and transfer portal phenomenon to be sure but that’s not how the NFL works.
