Lebron has shot the ball terribly all series and it's either crickets, or every click bait title like this one, "..Lebron shines", yeah he hasn't shined, outside of a few plays here and there. He's been carried the entire playoffs. Most of you act lie there's some grand media conspiracy against Lebron, when in fact, he's still the face of the league and every media outlet actually shields him from any real criticism.

I've been saying that ever since it happened. I believe that was a defining point of losing continuity within the team. I know Jordan Poole is his own man and he has to perform, but you see it on the bench. You see it on display. After that punch she was getting clowned on social media. Getting replayed over and over on Networks. Now he's in the spotlight now they're scrummaging for something about him and Lord and behold ice spice. 😂Mentally it's taking a toll. Draymond wasn't suspended by the league and was able to come back. If you think about Jordan tools mindset he might be thinking he's by himself and everyone's on Draymond side. It's all in his head and he might actually benefit if either one or two things happen. He goes to a different team or Draymond gets traded.

I agree with that view on Poole’s play. I think a part of why he’s been bad has been that incident with Draymond. Not too many places you get assaulted and the employer keeps the guy who hit you. @adidasut11
@adidasut11 Жыл бұрын
Exactly. More often than not, Steph and Klay basically shoot the Warriors out of the game (and results in a loss) due to their "we'll just keep jacking up 3's" approach to basketball. It sort of worked against the Kings, because the Kings play in the same manner. But it will never work against a true balanced team that dominates the paint and gets to the free throw line like the Lakers.

@@mellothirty that's not the issue. You can retool around a core that is still productive, but you need 2 things to do it: good contract to trade away, and draft capital. The Warriors have none of those. The only "not necessary" guy of this core, Poole, is at an all time low value and a very bad contract, they have the highest payroll in the NBA, very few picks to trade, Draymond is going to be a free agent, and the next CBA is going to be very bad for team consistently in the luxury tax. If they nailed at least one of their high draft picks (moody, kuminga and Wiseman), they'd have no problem, but none of the three looks anywhere close to a big contributor on a winning team.

@teresamcgee-vd2uc that's crazy because if you had the most basic reading comprehension skills. You'd be able to tell that I wasn't looking for sympathy. I didn't even bring up the free-throw disparity so it's clear that I'm not but nice try. Lastly I'm pretty sure that Stephen Curry knew how LeBron felt when he dragged a bunch of G league players, and rookies to the play in tournament and lost against the Grizzlies with no Klay Thompson or Draymond Green. Stephen Curry more than knows what it's like to be on the other side of adversity. The difference between Steph Curry and LeBron James, is that Steph would never take his talents elsewhere.

In no way does Steph Curry deserve any blame in yesterday's loss. The shots that he missed, he has made before. Steph Curry's decision to attempt the shots that he missed was not about poor decision-making, but it was about the situation on the ground and at that moment. Steph Curry had a triple double. He was hot. Anyone would have trusted Steph Curry's difficult, awkward and forced missed shots versus an open jumper by klay or poole in that moment. Steph was the only positive thing going for the Warriors.
@sup9542
@sup9542 Жыл бұрын
They defended Steph and Klay well. Klay took those stupid shots at the end because he couldn’t get open all game, he was trying to find daylight. Wiggins got wide open shots all game thanks to them and couldn’t make them. Draymond didn’t even look at the basket - no one is pointing out that at the end when they were down 1 and Draymond got the rebound and gave Steph a second chance 3, if Draymond had looked at the basket it was wide open to dunk it. Ben Simmons moment for him. But most blame has to go to Poole and Kerr. Poole for being unplayable, getting worse and worse all season, and Kerr for waiting until now to reduce his minutes.

Deal with it. He’s getting the treatment Lebron got for over a decade. This comes with being an all time great that Steph is. And I disagree with saying him taking a bad shot is better than finding an open teammate. That’s not warriors basketball. It’s always been about movement and finding open guys which I always enjoyed as a non warrior fan.
@bryana8383
@bryana8383 Жыл бұрын
@S Y During a game, you feel how the game is going. How momentum shifts on a dime. It's not about Warriors basketball, it's about knowing what the moment called for and it was not calling for Jordan Poole or Klay Thompson because if the moment was calling for that, the Warriors would've already had a comfortable lead that's why poole was benched. Im not a warriors fan, im a basketball fan. There was absolutely nothing wrong with what steph did, you always want to ride with your stars. He missed it, they didn't get the points and they lost. If things were reversed, I'd ride with Lebrons decision to do whatever he wanted bad shot or not and live with it. I wouldn't blame lebron for taking that shot especially if the rest of the team was ice cold.
@bryana8383
@bryana8383 Жыл бұрын
@Vincente’ what are they implying exactly? That the Warriors were ice cold except for Steph? It's all Monday night quarterbacking. If Steph makes the shot everyone thinks it was a great shot, if he misses then it is bad. My question is, if you didnt know if it went in or not, would it have been a good decision to take that shot based on what was happeneing before the shot went up? I say up to that point where he shoots, everyone but steph was playing like a lottery team. You got to ride or die with your stars and steph felt the need at that moment to continue to take over the game. He missed and that's that. Warriors were good, but the Lakers were better.

My advice to anyone feeling the heat in this bad market, is to start trading in long term more than ever. If you can then get a professional to trade for you I think that way your assets are more secure. I invest with expert Mr K and the profits is great even with the dip.

The 2 rings Lebron won with Dwade count or nah? What about the 2016 ring when he left injured Dwade and the heat, created a super team in Cleveland and needed 7 games + the refs and league help to beat a broken worn down Warriors team? Does the bubble ring he got with Ad count? Cuz Ad was puttin up some monster numbers and + he had 2 other HOFers on that Laker squad so in total it was 4 Laker HOFers against 1HOFer in Jimmy Butler and it still took him 6 games to beat 1 man in jimmy Butler the son of the great michael Jordan.
