@Derfel Cadarn but Metallica in 1983 creating 'fade to black' wasn't well-known, as far as i remember, they played in bars, gave concerts for small audience. I think, that money and wealth should not be the main goal for people, for artists, but of course we all need them, to provide comfort living conditions. Today, i think, artists in youtube get support through selling ads, merch, not only from selling albums.

The fact that 3 weeks in a row you guys have released songs where there's no vocals for minutes at a time, especially Fade to Black where it's truly predominately instruments, definitely betrays a massive confidence in yourselves and speaks to the strength of the band imo. When bands have an extremely talented singer who's also a captivating "frontman" and they perform and cover a lot of pop, I think it's way easier for a band to struggle and fall apart when pulling away from that strength and crossing genres (and also possible for lots of fans to be turned off even if the quality is good) but unsurprisingly you guys are amazing here. Metallica was also my first concert, so two songs of theirs is a treat. Thanks!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again... the only thing some of these heavier covers are missing is for the chains to come off of Audra's vocals and just let her belt. As much as I love 90% of how these songs turn out, every time it hits a moment of real raw, emotional vocals you can see her face hit that in the lip sync, but the recording sound so produced, and downplayed, I feel like we haven't really seen what her voice can do, and that's a bummer. I don't know if it's a confidence thing, or a choice being made by whoever does the mixing, but I just really wanna hear what she sound like when she gets to really lean into something. Still, great work, keep it up... I just hope some day soon we get to see the real power of that voice.

Stop bullshiting. Rock does not need anything. If artist/band is worth it then people will listen to it.

@@pshybysz you completely missed the point. Yes I guess you can argue rock doesn't "need" anything but if you are actually a real fan and have listened to it for as long as I have (strongly doubt you have) you would agree the ratio of bigger name bands with male lead singers dominate the space as 95%+ of the bands have guy lead singers. It would be nice to have more female led bands as it would bring in more female fans to the genre. In regard to second part, no crap, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be cool if they went more the rock route when they start doing more originals as there are plenty of fans who will get behind female led rock bands. Look at Poppy for example, she gets a lot of fans and they are pushing her on Sirius Octane channel (biggest channel in N. America) as Jose Mangin who is basically the main guy there has 2 daughters and has been advocating the same thing for years, thus trying to push girl led bands into rock. With the said, obviously they need talent, but we are both fans of First To Eleven and agree on the talent part (Especially with their ages in mind) so that point is kind of mute. Hope that clears up any misunderstandings.

@@JohnSmith-fk3fv Okay, let's go with the rock being ~95+ male vocalists being the front man of the band. Compare Pop vocalists ratio of male:female artists. Could the same argument be presented that more males are "needed" in the pop scene? It would be awesome to see more women in metal, but to go as far as to say they are "needed" is a bit of an overstretch. I have nothing against women in rock/metal, seeing as I'm a huge fan of a multitude of female led bands. In This Moment, Arch Enemy, Jinjer, Unleash the Archers, Nightwish, Both of Lauren Babic's bands, Diamante, Flyleaf and a few others. I'm happy to see them have as much success as they do, but to go as far to say they are needed is a bit...unnecessary. Take into account interests, vocal range, what they are comfortable singing, how they were raised, etc. If a female gets into rock. All the more power to her, she can fucking rock as hard as she wants. I know plenty of females who are fans of metal, rock and punk. It takes a lot to be a vocalist in general, let alone someone who can bring the power, alure and strength to sing in rock or metal. TL;DR: I'd love to see more femal vocalists in rock and metal, but to go as far as to say they are needed is a big leap.

People, people that don't support new music and if they do, it must be nowadays music, just like reggaeton and similar, but if there is anyone that create new rock music or classical music for example, the support is basically nothing, yes, you may get some support, but not enough to grow as an artist, so yes, some choose to make covers cause is the only way to play the genre you want and getting support as well, I tell you this as a musician, so please, don't say all those words without having a deep analysis over them.

Disclaimer: What I am going to say is my opinion based on my musical knowledge as a guitarist, bassist and producer. (And brother and father rock and jazz drummers). Very good version, I didn't dislike it, the only thing I would change would be the battery compression, less bpm (it goes very fast) and more volume to the voice. Beyond that, keep it up. It's always good to meet young bands like me.
