Saw him in a restaurant, went up to him to just take a picture, he invited us to sit down, introduced us to his mom and his whole family. He wanted us to sit down and talk, but we didn't want to intrude THAT much. Went back to our table, when they were leaving he said nice meeting you and left.

@@SyntheticaYT I agree with you 100%, which is why I don't buy any of the magazines with celebrities or watch TMZ or any other "celebrity" watching shows. In this case, this was back in the 90s when there were no smartphones or paparazzi, and celebrities weren't that bothered in public. We met Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood on the Santa Monica Promenade, in the late 90s when Garth was a huge singer. Another thing is that we waited until they were finished with their meals. We knew this because the restaurant was Ed Debevics, which was a 50s themed restaurant that everybody went to for their birthdays. They already sang Happy Birthday to LL's kid and ate the cake.

I grew up in the 80's with the G.O.A.T. aka LL Cool J. You can't help but smile when he's on. You want a pick-me-up, jolt, charge-up, or a chill, laid back, relaxed track to listen to, just listen to his art. It has always spoken for itself. What a treat seeing him on FWF.

This is such a great contrast to the Lenny Kravitz episode. Two guys of the same generation: one keeping so chill that you can't tell it's affecting him, and one guy trying so hard to hold it together. Another awesome episode

The thing I love so much about LL in this, is that he prefaces the whole thing by showing how hot even the first sauce was to him. Each individual sauce even hotter than the last. LL never stopped pushing through and still having fun doing it. Great guest.

I am 50 years old, know about LL and did not pay much attention to that genre when I was younger... but from my heart, watching him in this hot ones episode literally showed me one thing. LL COOL J and I agree 100% on everything and we express it the same way. I just became the greatest LL COOL J fan in history. I will pay respect and go back to the beginning. Time to learn about this amazing person from the start. WOW. I just dont have words for how much I align with his everything
