This is one of my all time favorite episodes. One of Seans best qualities as an interviewer is his ability to match the energy and tone of the person he’s talking to without turning it aggressive. This is one of the more interresting interviews. Sean is a BEAST in this episode -> The way he makes this interview go forward without any akward / tense moments is just fantastic craftsmanship. And I agree -> You can like or dislike the subjects manners / behaviour, but the point here is to see people for who they are and not put up a front for the audience. Quinton A have you watched his show? He does the same thing no matter what show it is. And it's not me hating, just an observation. Watch his show where he meets chefs and cooks and listen to him speak. He wants to use the biggest word possible and it doesn't always flow off his tongue.
@IceKoldKilla7 жыл бұрын
poet253rd That's him though. Him looking for big words is how he's always been. That's not him changing or anything, it's just how he is. At least he educates himself and tries to talk better instead of using 1st grade vocabulary like all these bitch ass rappers out here. And no one is saying he's Nas or anything. Know what I mean?

How interesting that people didn't like him on the show. I think he's incredibly entertaining, he's a shit talker. I have always appreciated that kind of personality, albeit sometimes in moderation. The sudden outbursts of vague questions ("What's _your_ deal, bro? Like, what's up with you?"), getting real worked up over some innocuous topic, unprompted odd praise ("I see substance in you") and stream-of-consciousness rambles all remind me of people I knew and lived with for years. Classic erratic hi-functioning stoner talk. You can't ever hate them for it, but I realised after several years I had progressively less patience for it. They're genuine people and cool to hang out with, but they get real intense after a while.
