@KressRudra3 жыл бұрын
@@seth1422 he explained the definition: the top 4 chemically active atoms by abundance. in the universe, these are hydrogen, helium (inert so doesnt count), oxygen, carbon, neon (inert so doesnt count) and then nitrogen. sure fluorine is highly reactive largely due to EN and Z_eff (im assuming this is what you mean by "intense bonder") and the other elements you listed have varying degrees of reactivity, but by abundance it is clear what he means as some of those dont even make the top 20. things like technicalities obviously are beyond the scope of the quote such as active helium in disodium helide and need not be considered. also if you are going to research the elements by abundance, one problem i had was finding sources for the milky way specifically and not the entire universe, in which case iron would be in the top 4. my advice is to make sure its for the entire universe

Honestly, Neil talking about how we are the universe is one of the most inspirational things ever. He doesn't just say it as a fact, you can tell he means it in his voice. This isn't some dry, bland speech from a random influencer saying that we are special, this is one of the smartest men alive combining what he loves most with literally everyone on the planet and in the universe. We aren't insignificant because we are so tiny compared to the universe, we are significant because we ARE the universe.
