That stated, he has spent over 30 years carefully crafting a public persona that he has used to gain celebrity and better movie roles. Everybody should know that Chris Rock was extremely disrespectful to WS and JPS, in prior years, even asking Jada out when she was still married to WS. The joke at the Oscars was the straw that broke the camel's back. It is truth that hate should not be answered with hate. But joking about someone's medical condition, and trying to go out with the wife of someone who treated you as a friend, was too much for WS. I feel Chris Rock hates Will Smith and Jada Pinket Smith, that he has been trying to destroy their marriage and lives covertly through his Joking and Degrading of them. @@voicetube for sure, I am not trying to justify WS's actions. He fell on CR's hideous game. CR didn't press charges on WS because WS & JPS could have pressed charges against him for slandering them. What a lot of people don't know, is that all of them were friends and had worked together. CR betrayed them by slandering them publicly, and sexually desiring JPS, despite they had opened their doors to CR. But if there is justice, WS has done more good than bad and has dedicated his life to entertain at global level and has brought happiness to all of us. He also was already penalized by the Academy and has apologized publicly and offered to keep his door open for CR to reach out. CR is a USA entertainer and his actions are not of the same caliber or order of magnitude as WS's. CR lives out of degrading and ridiculing others. You have to have a taste for mundanity with CR. With WS, there is a spiritual connection through his many characters in movies, TV and concerts. This is why "we must agree that we disagree" as to the disparity of disapproval toward WS. If you fully understand the nature of not forgiving someone for a bad act, you know that all the disapproval and lack of forgiveness stem from having similar transgressions of their own. Otherwise, why would someone have rancor or enmity against another? That is insanity, and this hate toward WS is an insanity rooted in that principle. I leave you with some food for thought 🤔
