I appreciate how much, as an artist she really is showing her humanity in her music & her music videos by doing less, dressing up less, and even wearing less costume type of clothing, the fact she spoke on her wearing more casual clothing & showing her natural hair without using wigs / stuff she used to, stuff the “industry” wanted her to do & look like, the fact she’s coming out of all that - should really show people she is claiming her own individuality & autnomomy as a human who is also an artist. That’s really commendable. Not every artist who is “mainstream” is able to make the transition from looking & sounding mainstream, to going BACK to her own roots. She’s been this way she just let the industry influence her into doing pop, dressing up the way she used to etc. this “phase” of her is her literally coming BACK to her SELF. A lot of people don’t get that.
