You don’t have to add like to your comments, you could have just said “I love how genuine she was, I cannot control myself”, you didn’t need to put like in there, it just makes you sound dumb. I know it can be hard to shake once one starts using like way too often, while talking, but when you’re writing you have the added benefit of being able to proofread your comments before posting them. Using the word like so much, starts to become a crutch, one thing that’s super helpful so you don’t get stuck in the redundancy of using like all the time is looking up like in a thesaurus and start using synonyms for like as well, so you’re not always using like. Becoming aware is the first step in addressing an issue. I hope I was helpful. 😊

@@gymkhana1128 I go through a phase of near-addiction of extremely spicy food every so often, like making carolina reaper pesto and putting it on everything, and it doesn't really go numb, you just get better at handling the sensation, you mentally adapt to it. I'd say it feels the same, but the panicky response where your body tells you something's urgently wrong (which makes everything worse) goes away, and it becomes more about getting high from the heat, if that makes sense. I guess it's kinda like some people who need to get an injection every day or multiple times daily vs those who get them rarely, their nervous system has learned not to panic about it, so they aren't as affected by it, even if they still are actually feeling the same sting, just more "casually".
