The way he phrases it reminded me of bee swarm simulator, being really fun in the early game with exploring the map, talking with all the bears, getting you're first legendary/mythic. But as you get to late game it just gets so grindy, to the point where not playing the game via macros is a better way to play rather than actually playing the game. It really is a fun and adventure you can only experience once which is a pity.

Fisch once was a calm and chill game where you catch fish and just hang out with people, but lately I’ve kinda just felt the opposite, stressed out and not enjoying the game due to the constant grind… My whole goal when I started the game was: “I want to collect everything” and it’s starting to become a serious pain when there is a weekly 200 Robux purchase I have to make to get the “Limited Bobbers” and also the “Limited Event Fish” I have to join and collect nearly every update… I’m so glad you pointed out the similarities between Fisch and Blade Ball, because that’s the direction it seems to be going, which is sad- Blade Ball was also a game I once used to play but I had to force myself to stop playing because it was becoming ridiculously expensive and p2w… and er we all know how expensive those cosmetics are- Blade Ball also had this thing where “Starter Packs” would only be purchasable by new players, Fisch also recently added this, ruining every collectors Rod and Boat collection… And I also saw that they are going to be adding Rod Cosmetics too, which I can almost guarantee will eventually be the same “Limited Time” overpriced system Blade Ball uses… I understand that scaring people into buying stuff or playing the game by making things limited time is a “good business practice” for making money, but I just feel like a lot of what they are doing kind of defeats the whole point of the game- How can I complete my bestiary if I started playing today? I can’t, because too bad I wasn’t there for the Archeology Update- that applies for all the Bobbers, Rods and Boats too… Reason why I didn’t mind Fisch Fright was because I assumed it would probably return next year, so it wasn’t truely limited, but… well the Archeology update isn’t tied to any IRL event or holiday so I doubt that’ll ever return, meaning any new players that would want to “collect everything, in the game where you collect things” can’t- Not everything has to be LIMITED… I’d enjoy the game a lot more if Cosmetics were able to be purchased with In-game currency or Robux, and instead of being limited, they just rotated them in a daily/weekly store- and if limited fish were never a thing, the only way I would accept a limited time thing is if it’s a seasonal thing that’s tied to some IRL date, that would return every time each year, but unfortunately I heavily doubt they will even begin to make changes like this- A bit of proof is that, they mentioned limited bobbers could be purchased with in-game currency but was disabled due to a bug and would be re-enabled later. I still hate the idea of it being limited time but I was happy at the very least knowing it wasn’t gonna be Paywalled… I waited… and waited… they never re-enabled it and are acting like that was never an option |:/ I hate to say it but I liked Fisch when it wasn’t corporate… Yes I’m glad they are successful, but I absolutely hate they way they’ve gone about monetising… they could’ve gone about it in a much better way… and I feel like they’ve completely disrespected the their players with corporate greed and false promises- I don’t have any respect for Do Big and I feel betrayed by the original Dev because I was hoping he wouldn’t let this happen… considering this whole thing was meant to be a passion project and not… blade ball 2.0… Anyway, sorry for the yapping, I know I’m the grand scheme of things this won’t improve or change anything, if it continues I think I’m just gonna stop playing Fisch… and I’m so desperately hoping I’m proven wrong…

@@RobsTheMemer no, the game does not require any sort of planning, if you’re talking about weather conditions, seasons etc. those conditions do pretty much nothing for those certain fish, you can catch them at anytime and mostly anywhere, anyway. it does require some kind of skill, yes, but it’s just a tiny bit more different version of the roll mechanic, with the key difference being, that you can fail the sequence, that’s it.

Okay a few things for trident rod and rod of depths. If you really did grind it on your own, a price increase is really unnecessary. For trident it costed me much more than 150k to get it, and I didn’t even have to pay for all the relics. Was just me, my friend and our two steady rods. I spent three days getting the bestiary, thats precious time in itself. Crab cages alone costed us like 150k, and we all know those arent profitable. It was honestly a gruesom grind to get trident rod, i get progessive development but the grind for the massive leap is equally satisfying. Now for Rod of Depth, you DEFINETLY dont need an increase there, I get it its broken. But appraising for the relics alone takes like 300k, and we didnt even get abyssal. I had gotten abyssal on my trident which i found more profitable so I kept it, and thats how we got our abysall relics. After appraising mind you. Also you'd also have to pay for diving gear and flippers (tide breaker if u want to) What I'm trying to say is, theres more to those rods than their fixed cost. Its an investment of your time and how you choose to invest your saved up money. And to those macroing the beginning of the game, you wont enjoy it. I recommend macroing after you get rod of depths, its what I did. And the game had me hooked and still does.

ye me too i got abyssal rod of depths and started macroing just to see what i can get over a really long amount of time, everything before that was purely manual and i dont regret ignoring the macro till end-game at all, it makes sure that i enjoy and learn the game rather than a bot doing it for me

Fisch is a great simple game that almost brings back the old feeling of Roblox. The simple, blocky graphics and the animation being the main thing. It also did a really good job with using RNG in a good way instead of being a premium-payout farming afk "game."
