Fish Fry Low Country Style at Shabazz Seafood Ep.200

During my recent trip to Savannah, Georgia, I was eager to experience the authentic flavors of the Lowcountry, particularly its renowned seafood. My destination of choice was Shabazz Seafood, a local gem known for its fried fish.
As soon as I arrived, the aroma of freshly fried fish filled the air, promising a satisfying culinary experience. The fish was cooked well and crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside. The seasoning was just right, capturing the essence of traditional Lowcountry flavors.
The portion was generous, with the fish served hot and golden, a visual treat that matched its taste. While the focus was on the fish, the presentation's simplicity allowed the food's quality to shine through.

I live in Georgia and some African American and Chinese restaurants do charge for condiments. Some give you a couple packets for free and charge for extras. There is definitely a charge for things like honey. We don't like the charges, but they are small businesses trying to say afloat.

I like Ling Whitings and I like the Butterfly whiting. The Ling Whiting bones be crazy sometimes! The butterfly Whitings are good for sandwiches.

Always a pleasure. I'm not a fan of fried fish, but that batter looked and sounded good, and those were some thick pieces of fish. Bean pie was special too, like homemade. Tell ya one thing, I ain't payin' no extra for hot sauce though, I'll bring some bottles of my own in the car. Can't wait for you to go cross-country and try all sorts a stuff in all sorts a places. Be great if you could take your kids, they'll learn a hell of a lot. You get that windshield fixed yet? I hope so, some states'll ticket y'all for a crack more than a couple inches. They started charging for some condiments because since the Pandemic more people are ordering from restaurants and they are running low on some condiments. Some may also limit the amount of plastic ware and napkins also
