They're wondering if you're pescatarian. That means the only meat you eat is fish. It's not uncommon. A lot of people don't eat any meat but fish, so it's a reasonable question. Hope that helps.

Technically, “conventionally” meat is any flesh that is considered warm blooded. Because fish is cold blooded it’s considered seafood and not meat. I can understand where you are coming from though.

When I was a little kid people would say that they were vegetarian but, they ate chicken and fish. This was confusing to me because, anything with a face is meat to me. How is it not a type of meat if it has a brain, lungs and a heart?

I don't consider fish, meat..never did even when i was a small child..if fish is meat..why are their places/stores/markets out here that have written on their store...WE SELL MEATS AND FISH?
