Lmao '' just sayin '' like what you said matters, it's a US restaurant, they come up with the names and your petty nonsense is so childish. NZ is so small but always acts so big, if you took away all American restaurants in NZ people would go through withdrawals, because even though you all like to act smarter than Americans you sure do love their stuff. You're odd and wrong with your island syndrome thinking everyone has to conform to your ways when the US brought something new to NZ and all of you filled the restaurant immediately because there's not much else to do in this country lmao.

Burger is beef. Americans call mince as ground beef or "hamburger." Hamburger is the old fashioned word for mince in the usa. It's part of the dialect. So, if it's beef, it's a burger. If it's chicken, it's a sandwich. Because chicken isn't made of hamburger. That's why americans call it a sandwich if it's not beef.

We’ve tried it here in NZ twice now. It was super busy because it had just opened. I thought it was good. The biscuit ( scone) thing is weird, I’d far rather have a nice soft roll with it. Mac & cheese is a weird side too though my daughter likes it. I’m always a chicken burger fan so I always choose that. Good to hear it’s similar to the one in the U.S. sorry you didn’t get your sauce, I hate that! Especially if you’ve paid extra for it.

An American Biscuit is not the same as a New Zealand Scone. The biscuit has a slightly different recipe. Best meal with American. Biscuits covered with white sausage gravy. Very popular in the south. @@michaelmarama-de4gxIt may seem like that to you, but for a Kiwi, there only small differences between an American biscuit and a scone, in taste. A scone is essentially soda bread that we always eat fresh, piping hot out of the oven, with sweet or savoury spreads and condiments (usually sweet). Unlike British scones which are round and larger than American biscuits, the scones I was raised with were the size of a man’s hand palm and irregularly shaped.
