Before frying marinate the fish with the paste made of pepper,red chilly and turmeric. The fish must be cut into very small pieces for pickle. Make ginger -garlic paste and mix both the pastes with the fish.
Heat oil in a vessel and fry the fish. Take out the fried fish and add chilly powder to this oil. Add fenugreek powder and add the fried fish to this and mix well. Add asafoetida powder, curry leaves and mix well. Fish pickle is ready. When it cools, add vinegar to this.
