The two arapaimas, I assume, were the small ones from a while ago? I like feeding life mealworms to a great number of my animals.
@Fish-Story8 ай бұрын
5 inches in Dec 2022, yes. Do mealworms have a hard exoskeleton?
@Hemp19728 ай бұрын
@@Fish-Story Wauw okay, no pima for me then. They are stunning in the 25.000! Mealworms are kinda soft in comparing to the bigger morio worms. And they don't bite.

@@Hemp1972 Are they expensive? What's their nutritional value?
@Hemp19728 ай бұрын
@@Fish-Story Here in Holland for me they are expensive, because I can't afford an amount of two pounds. I gotta buy them per half ounce. That's about €2,- I feed them a slice of whole weed bread with added liquid vitamins, so my geckos, turtles, axolotl, squirrels, birds, bearded dragon and of course fish gets the best!
@Fish-Story8 ай бұрын
So you breed your own supply? Do you feed the worms and they multiply for you?
@lorineilly61038 ай бұрын
Awesome video. Thanks so much for sharing with us. I am wondering if you have any archer fish. I keep looking in your tanks for some but haven’t spotted any. Am I just missing them?

Thank you, Lori! Well, there is another disappointment for you. We had archers until recently: www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/threads/burmese-clouded-archers-at-fish-story.755501/

have you tried live meal worms?
@Fish-Story8 ай бұрын
No. Are they expensive? Are they easy to digest for all fish? A peer told me that their cichlid died after eating them.

I was waiting for the Cichlid tank....I have a Gold Saum Im always complaining about how aggressive he is...I notice one of your GT's is not gold trim, it has a silver trim.....is this considered a White or Silver Saum? I love the look of that and im wishing mine was that way. Is that a genetic defect in color or do they vary in color like that? Ive never seen ones without Gold trim unless they are true wild Green Terrors and not Gold Saums.
@Fish-Story8 ай бұрын
Yes, I remember your prick of a GT. I am a newbie with cichlids so cannot answer most of your questions. All I know is one is white saum and two are gold saums, and all 3 males.
@j_toledo4198 ай бұрын
That fish that stays up at the top that is more of a slender fish in the cichlid grow-out tank, what it is again? And do you know will it get big like say arrows? 18:16
@Fish-Story8 ай бұрын
Pink tail chalceus. It is fully grown it seems, under 1ft. There are a few different species of this characin, which IDK much about. Smaller fish is not my forte.
