Those are some nice looking whites. You may have to slow that boat down a knot or two to keep from breaking a rod on some big fish. Nice problems to have though,!! Your new ride is a cut above the older one, and much quieter. Faster too I think. Thanks for the trip Jerry.

You are correct William. The new boat is a 75 HP and the old boat was 60 HP and it idles about .7 mph faster. I have stabilizers on the new boat but I haven't put the down position lever on yet. It works fine for White Bass but won't work for Crappie. I am going to see how the electric works before I decide weather to do that or not. The new trolling motor is a 24 volt motor whereas the old one was only 12 volt. Thanks again buddy.

Behind the scenes of video making is my real life issues. We have had 4 months of repairing thousands of dollars of damage to rental and personal properties. And along with that we had Covid and other health issues plus the time it took to sell two boats and buy another boat and three new motorized kayaks you haven't seen yet. And, it has taken lots of time to help my daughter find and purchase an home. And, the extreme 10 to 15 degrees above temperatures have made it difficult for me to fish with one of the pills I take. But, we are about to get back to "abnormal"!!!!! Thanks for letting us know you care.

Awesome video. Can you tell me more about your rear rod holder rig? Did you make that or purchase it somewhere. I think i need one!

JD, I built the rod holder. It is identical to the one I had on the old boat. It is simply a piece of angle iron that sets in the butt seat pedestal. The straps on the end are hold-down straps to form a triangle. It only takes seconds to put on or take off. Thanks for watching and inquiring about the rod holder.
