Maybe Bertha needs a little pen. she follows you anyway bring her around to the pen shut the gate. And then feed the rest of the fish, let her loose again once they’re done. You could even feed her once she gets back out so she still feels dominant ;]

Hey @TheFishWhisperer1 the pond looks awesome! I think adding some kind of structure underwater might be neat. Also I don't know if you're thinking about adding any more fish to the pond but I would like to make three suggestions. First in northern pike, secondly a walleye, and finally a flathead catfish.

Just saying, I think it would be pretty cool if you got your hands on a redtail catfish, but I'm not sure if it would compete with tom or not, because im raising a blue channel cat and an rtc in a 300 gallon stock tank right now and as soon as they get big enough, im moving them to a buddys pond. idk i guess i can be biased but i think rtcs are pretty cool.

Gar are slow eaters to begin with and it’s not very warm so the fish are gonna look slower. He feeds them good
