Releasing My Pet Alligator Gar into their New Pond!

In this video, I let go of my pet alligator gar in a pond out at the new property. I have had some of these gar for over 4 years now.

I would be surprised if they're able to grow to 5-6 feet in that pond. Even if they're able to it will take alot longer with it being a smaller pond compared to being in a river. Best of luck though. Cant wait to see them in the future.

I wish I could do this. Unfortunately, we didnt have a pond, so when our gar outgrew what we could give them, we gave em to a family friend. Theyre still alive! But I miss them quite a bit. When we got them, they were as small as a finger!
