It is really nice to hear good things said about our work and we are pleased that it appears to have served Fisher Industries well.. I was surprised to see that this video garnered 1.6 million views. It may be the most viewed video we've ever produced. Fisher Industries was a very good company to work with.

A student of mine went to California and he can not help laughing. In Russia, the damage in Oroville Dam can be finished in less than a day if all of the required civil engineering technologies and materials are all present on the site and their processes and procedures well coordinated. I think the best fence design was the one with the large pipe on top of the fence that way people can't lob anything over to grab onto the fence so they can pull themselves up and over and if they did get a ladder to get up to that pipe there's no way for them to easily get over the pipe because they would fall off of it. The taller it is the harder it is to hoist up a ladder to put on the other side to climb down. The design they're using now with the flat sheet of steel at the top is a good design but someone who is a great climber could use a catapult type device to toss over a grapple and then they could climb the rope to the top of the fence and then pull that rope up and throw it down to the other side and lower themself over. Obviously the fence is not 100% unclimbable but it will not permit most people to walk through or go over it because most people don't have those skills. Personally I like the design of electrifying the fence that way nobody gets over except for a very rare person who knows how to get over such a fence but most people don't. It seems liberals and some conservatives cannot stomach the idea of an electrified fence. It would be very costly to keep it Juiced up and you would have to do it with solar energy and it would require a lot of maintenance in order for the panels to stay clean to keep the batteries charged. If you hooked it up to the AC current that each state had it would be incredibly expensive to run but you would have to be concerned if it was solar that people would come and destroy the panels so I guess it's best like it is. I wish we could design a border fence or wall that would keep everyone out but it would be extremely difficult to do. I think it can be done but what we need is different designs throughout the bad areas where more illegals come through to see what works the best. We have new construction areas where the fence is going up that has underground seismic detection that is able to detect people digging and pinpoint their location but unfortunately in places like California where we already have a fence no lights or seismic detection is there and people constantly dig under the fence and bring their drugs through. In fact not too long ago a tunnel 40 ft Underground was discovered that came into the u.s. from Tijuana and drugs were being funneled through that area. It takes an incredible amount of effort to fill those in and is very expensive because they fill them in with concrete and it requires a lot of concrete to fill in a mile of a tunnel.
