Here’s a few tips you won’t find easily. The pinpointer uses pulse induction which causes interference on normal detectors. The pinpointer will allow you to change frequencies to tweak out interference. If you are using the Equinox 600 or 800. Set the pinpointer to the 2nd sensitivity level. With the pinpointer on lay it on the ground. Turn the Equinox on and put the coil about 2 to 3 feet from the pinpointer. Then do a noise cancel on the equinox. If you still feel like you are getting way to much interference. Change the pinpointer frequency and try again. You won’t completely get rid of the interference , you will get it to a tolerable level. The other things are when you go to pinpoint, set the detector down with the Coil away from where you are using the pinpointer. And lastly you can hit the minus button on the equinox or decrease the sensitivity on what ever detector your using, that also cuts out the interference. I have an F-Pulse that I have used for a few years. Tried the Minelab Pro Find for a while, went back to the F Pulse. Instagram.Com/DimeDetective

That is some great tips! Thanks so much for sharing them with everyone! I also was using the pro find 35 and I like the f-pulse alot better myself. Thanks again and thank you for watching! Take care. ~John

Good advice and really universal across detector brands that feature the ability to shift freqs. I run 2 AT pros and 2 f pulses, am able to get pretty close hunting with the freqs shifted. I run 2 on one Pro and 4 on another, basically went through what the pointers had to offer to get the quietest. Still with powerfull machines at high sensitivity your still going to have some cross talk.

When the F pulse first came out I immediately got one as I use an F75 ltd which I love. The first one had problems within a couple of months. Fisher sent me another one, and it also only lasted a couple of months. They sent me another one, and it looks like they have the bugs worked out because this one has gone well beyond it's warranty and is still going strong. I am wondering if you had the sensitivity set on 2 ? Mine set on 3 will pick up a nickel at 4". Another good tip for this pin pointer is every so often place the tip on the ground when turning it on, this will ground balance it and give you more depth. I have 2 F pulses now. My Garrett is a 4th string backup now as I also recently purchased the Nokta Makro pulse dive which is a really good probe too.

Very good point on the sensitivity setting. I actually have turned it down to setting two and it runs a lot smoother. It is a very sensitive pin pointer. I really like it as well. Thanks so much for watching and take care! ~John

The F pulse is a awesome pin pointer but remember it is a Pulse unit so when you are using it in the field stick it to the ground then turn it on and it will take a moment to balance and you will get more debt out of it.

Well, from one John to another, I would buy that pinpointer for sure. my Garrett carrot is on its last leg. The light wants to stay on, once it finds a target it wont stop beeping. Thanks for this video. stay well and happy detecting.

Thank you! Yes that would not be a wrong choice buying this pinpointer. Shoot I have made it my number one out of all the ones I have. Thanks for watching and take care.

Were your batteries full and settings maxxed on the F pulse? I got one yesterday and did the same test and the depth it was hitting at was damn near double.

Great review and video. Looks like the carrot is slipping from the lead. The Fisher looks like the new go to and probably cost less. Plus using AA is cost effective. Don't recall if it can use rechargeable or not.
@GroeneBoys3 жыл бұрын
For sure the most sensitive pin pointer. I find I need to turn it down a little at times. Really a great pinpointer! Love the AA battery usage too. Not too sure on the rechargeable batteries though. AA cost is really cheap though. Thanks for watching!
@GroeneBoys3 жыл бұрын
Hey Steve, yes you can use rechargeable batteries. You can expect 25 hrs. On alkaline, 15 hrs. On NiMH rechargeable and 50 hrs. On Lithium batteries.

Good fair review, looks like an awesome pointer. Love the fact that it uses AA vs 9 volt, that's a huge plus.

Thank you. Yeah the AA batteries are the way to go. 9volts are so pricey now. Thanks for watching!

Does the F-Pulse detect along the side of the probe....or only the tip like the TRX?

Then you did it way wrong. The TRX is as deep, if not a little deeper than this. That’s why people are paying up to $400 for new old stock on eBay. Same guy had his hands in designing both, Carl Moreland.

I just bought one got it in yesterday it fulses too much...audio too low, very good for air test only
@goldsmith0013 жыл бұрын
Mine does the same using lithium ion batteries. If I use alkaline I don't have any problem. Also if using highest sensitivity, this might happen a little, turn down to level two and no problemo.
